How the Locals Reviews Professional Affiliates Program Works
The Locals.Reviews Local Affiliates Program is a professional affiliates program that we make available only to those who are serious about marketing the Locals.Reviews platform where they live and work.
Why We Offer the Program
We provide the affiliate's program because we want to grow our business from the ground up via the "locals" that live in each area that we represent, which is the whole of the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Why We Don't Offer it for Free
Our program is locally based, so we only offer one affiliate for each geographic region (defined by zip codes).
If we provided this for free, we would likely damage our own ability to grow and earn income because the affiliate was not "active", while having a local geography of which they would be our only local affiliate.
What is Required to Become a Professional Affiliate?
You must be at least 16 years old and you must have a social security card. Since you will be considered a private contractor, we will be reporting the income that you receive to the federal government.
You will NOT become an employee of our company, so we will NOT be withholding taxes or social security fees from your checks.
You will be responsible to declare your income when you file you taxes.
We will be mailing you a 1099 early each January that you will need when you file your US Income Taxes. You may not need to pay any tax, depending upon your total income. However, we will be fulfilling our part.
What Does it Cost to Become a Professional Affiliate?
1) There is a one-time Acquisition Fee.
There is a small, one-time acquisition fee required that is based upon the population of the zip codes that you want to claim in your area.
Requiring this small, one-time investment from our professional affiliates provides the money needed for us to get their professional print media (business cards & brochures) produced and delivered to them.
2) Their is a Monthly Professional Affiliate fee.
The monthly professional affiliate fee is also based upon the total of their protected region via zip codes, starting at just $25/mo.
3) How Much Money do Professional Affiliates earn?
Professional affiliates earn 40% of each sale, which translates into $10 or $20 per month per account sold. Therefore, a professional affiliate will be recovering their initial monthly affiliate fee when they have 3 lite subscription sales or 2 premier prescription sales.
Safeguards Within Our Professional Affiliate's Program
1) There are NO overlapping regions.
Our professional affiliate's designated regions are 100% completely exclusive. If you become one of our professional affiliate, you will be the ONLY professional affiliate for your defined region.
2) There is NO Corporate (Locals.Reviews) Competition.
The company (Locals.Reviews) does NOT compete against our affiliates via our own direct sales via our own advertising and marketing vehicles.
The company will also be marketing corporately to increase our business subscribers' base as this is our income model.
However, our system checks the business's zip code as they subscribe for our program and if this zipe code has been assigned to one of our professional affiliates, they still receive FULL CREDIT for the sale!
3) The Professional Affiliates program is Transferrable to another individual.
Professional affiliates may transfer the program to another via gift, sale or will.
If the professional affiliate chooses transfer the program via a sale, here are the rules: they may require their initial investments to acquire their region, PLUS up to the full amount that they have earned over the past twelve months.
The individual receiving the Professional Affiliate ID will require to assume the monthly fees that the previous owner was paying in order to continue to earn income from the program.
Transferring a Professional Affiliate ID requires a Signed and Professionally Notarized document that will be provided by Locals.Reviews. This document will detail the terms of the Professional Affiliate Program.
