How the Locals Reviews Program Works
With the Locals.Reviews tools, Local Businesses may take control of the feedback and reviews process, beginning by encouraging their customers to leave regular feedback.
- Their customers do NOT have to register with Locals.Reviews or even have an email address in order to leave private feedback or public reviews.
This regular feedback enables business owners and managers to better manage their businesses. They may receive alerts by email and/or text whenever a customer provides feedback.
- Customers may elect to make their feedback PRIVATE - so ONLY the business's owner/manager sees it. This is very powerful for you as a small business owner. If there is a problem, YOU NEED TO KNOW, and your "loyal locals" often choose to NOT provide a review because they don't want to hurt you publicly. However, NOT KNOWING you have a problem IS A PROBLEM!
They can read the feedback and reach out to the person that provided it via email and/or phone (if the customer has provided).
They can do this without fear of getting unfair or fraudulent reviews or having damaging reviews get posted to their websites, if they choose to be actively engaged in the process.
Our two step 1) Feedback and 2) Review process give business owners the ability to mitigate negative feedback privately, and allows the local customer to provide new feedback after the mitigation process, which the business owner may switch on for a review.
